  • Barnett Home Squaw Valley

Our feature project is a home in Squaw Valley that was built in the 60’s as a “ski cabin” with spectacular views. The designer on the project wanted to emphasize the contemporary lines of the house, while using traditional products that bring the outside in. The cabinetry is a wire-brushed fir from Bentwood in a slab door style, finished in beautiful deep rich tones. The backsplash picks up these rich tones using glass tiles from Oceanside, the countertops are quartz, and the floor is the latest “wood look” in porcelain from AKDO. Also used were marble rocks from Island Stone. Designers Ruth Cross and Analia Grayden teamed up with Greg Pope, Contractor and Michael Barnett, Designer on this project.
